Everything Plus The Bagels

Today, I, Juju made some homemade bagels. They're not just your everyday morning bagel because they're freshly baked and made by you.
These bagels are especially easy and simple because there is no yeast needed and no time needed to let the dough rise.
It has been trending on the internet and people everywhere are trying it out. Some people have even tried air frying it, but today I'll just be talking about the oven baked version.
For today's recipe, it'll take about 30 mins to prep and 30 mins to bake. One hour total
Here's what you need:
2 cups of All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt
1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
1 teaspoon of salt
"Everything But the Bagel Seasoning"
Preheat oven to 357° Fahrenheit

The first thing I did was add all of the dry ingredients into a bowl and whisk it up.

Then add in and stir the Greek yogurt of your choice.
We went with Chobani!

When you mix it will become a bit crumbly.
Eventually, I went in with my hands and started kneading the dough until it was a nice consistency.
Do not overmix, or else your dough will be too thick.
Once your dough is fit to your taste, take a little smaller than bagel sized piece and put it onto your work place. You can sprinkle some flour on your board to avoid sticking if necessary.

Shape up the ball and pat it down a bit to flatten it out.
As you can see here, my hands were definitely getting messy! But nothing that a little wash can't fix later. Don't worry about getting messy!

Poke a hole in the center of your ball.
Try to maintain an equal thickness around the circle as you do so. The left side shouldn't be very thick compared to the right and vice versa.
You can use a sprinkle of flour to make sure that the whole doesn't shrink back in too much.
Just make sure that the hole is big enough, so that when the dough rises in the oven, it won't close up.
Now flip your ball of dough over and dip it in some water. (this helps the seasoning stick on the dough)
Next, dip it in the seasoning/topping of your choice. In this case, I used "Everything But the Bagel Seasoning"

Later I tried the same process but this time around, I put the dough in a Cheddar Cheese mix instead of the bagel seasoning. Have fun with it and put whatever toppings you'd like.
Repeat this process with the rest of your sections of dough.
Make sure to space them out on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.
Now take it in your already preheated oven at 375° F for 25-30
Here's our finished bagels!!

Don't they look delicious!
Our family really enjoys bagels, and now we can have our own, homemade ones. With any topping that we desire.
We love cream cheese with our bagels. So we made some to enjoy.

If you want to see how we made the cream cheese, check out the recipe on our site.
Have fun bagel making and enjoy!
